I am Jana Majzoub, Founder of Behind My Meals, a Licensed Dietitian and Food Safety Expert dedicated to ensuring that food nourishes rather than harms.
My mission is to empower individuals, families, and businesses to make informed decisions about purchasing, preparing, and storing food—guaranteeing meals that are both safe and healthy.
My professional journey includes working with the United Nations to support small businesses in developing food safety systems and labeling regulations, enabling them to expand their exports across borders.
I’ve also had the privilege of collaborating with multinational food and beverage companies and educational institutions as a Food Safety and Quality Management professional.
With expertise in delivering strategic training on HACCP principles and customer journey steps for the food and beverage industry, I specialize in auditing food suppliers and managing food safety programs aligned with ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 standards.
My work spans the Middle East, improving food safety practices, and educating future food service professionals as an instructor at the American University of Beirut.
